Too bad it was narrated by > Martin Sheen, Hollywood's most vocal anti-military mouthpiece. But hey, we > all have bills to pay! You know, the funny thing is, these guys are just as intrigued by the hardware as we are. I suspect that, to the anti-military liberals it is like Victorian times and sex; no one talks about sex and when they do it is only in negative terms. But boy they all still want to get some. It goes hand-in-hand with the mentality that lets one drive a Lincoln Navigator with Greenpeace, Earth First, and No Oil Drilling bumper stickers on it. (I have seen this one.) I wonder if they know where the massive quantity of gasoline they are burning comes from. I also wonder if they know where their freedom and prosperity comes from. -- Brian Lloyd 6501 Red Hook Plaza, Suite 201 brian@lloyd.com St. Thomas, VI 00802 +1.340.998.9447 - voice +1.360.838.9669 - fax

--> Yak-List message posted by: "Doug" <rvfltd@televar.com> Not meant to be a Spam, but would like everyone to know that the Chinese stainless steel systems are in and they are in fact $1700.00 and that it also has stainless steel exhaust nuts. It fits exactly like your original std steel system. At this time no cabin heater shroud is available, but we are working on it. However if you are in need of heat consider the stainless Yak 18T modified system which fits up perfectly to the 285 hp, and includes a cabin heater for $1800.00. Also, the "first Aid / Parts box" is going together now and will be shipped to Red Star on the 28th of April. It will include as much of the normal "it always breaks at airshows" items as I have in stock. Over and above the normal, I have been asked to include a set of stainless steel (exit only) pipes, a 3/1 ga, and a trim cable, all 3 are good ideas to have on hand, any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks go to Tom Elliott for supplying a real neat padded shipping box to ship and store the parts in. Hopefully the we will have the same good fortune as last year (only a broken trim cable) and the box will remain closed and not be needed. And last but not least thanks to Drew and crew for footing the shipping bill to make sure the parts are on hand to keep us all in the air. See you at Red Star! Always yakin, Doug Sapp ----- Original Message ----- From: "joe h" <joeh@shaw.ca> Subject: Yak-List: Stainless steel exhaust > --> Yak-List message posted by: joe h <joeh@shaw.ca> > > CJ6 and Yak owners > > Info on US manufactured exhaust systems > > Pipes are built up of .049" thickness 321 stainless steel tubing > > New cylinder connection nuts manufactured from 304 stainless steel stock > > New do-nut pipe to cylinder seals manufactured from 321 stainless steel > > No clamps required, slip joints between all segments. > > > Price - 1950.00 US FOB West Virginia > > Stainless steel heat shroud add 350.00 US > > > Agent for Radial Exhaust systems Ltd. > JOAL HOLDINGS LTD > joeh@shaw.ca > ph 250 748 2203 > >

--> Yak-List message posted by: Craig Payne <cpayne@mc.net> Russky Engine Owners, Many of you know, or know of Vladimir Yastremski as a valuable resource when either Yak or CJ troubles arise. Vladimir participates in our YPA events with maintainence seminars and if anyone has a broken airplane, he grabs his trusty tool box and dives in to help. He will be at Red Star, no doubt with those two tool boxes he takes on his travelling tours to do General Condition inspections. Vladimir will soon be collecting engines in need of overhaul for shipment to Russia where engines will be factory overhauled under his directions. Prices are *Most Reasonable*. One of my engines will be in the shipment and knowing Vlad, I'm NOT concerned about getting ripped off. Yes I know, Stuff Happens, but I have always based my business dealings based on relationships. Wish I could say the same for Telcom Stocks but that's another sad story. Vlad has 7 engines committed now and is looking for 3 more. The -14P engines can be OH; as well as "B" and "AI" versions. Huosai engines need not apply. Vladimir can be reached on his cell at 619-379-1860. He is in the process of moving into a larger hanger in Ramona, CA. but will still make Red Star. If you are an owner/operator of the Round Sound, this is a guy you need to know. Craig "No I don't get a discount" Payne
