If you don't know about this a pilot from each state is to fly a state flags to Kitty Hawk between now and the anniversary. I have to get press coverage et al for the flight. I intend to do it late August, early Sept. Any Yak members in that area that fancy doing the final leg with me to Kitty Hawk are welcome. I think that the press seeing a bunch of radials arriving would like what they see. I was going to fly down to say 30nm away and meet up with any redstar types in the area before flying in. When the flag is delivered it and pictures will become a part of the permanent Parks Dept exhibit at the site, nice to have a Yak there.... Anyone interested ? I'd meet up with you somewhere. Let me know when you set a firm date. Mike Rick Basiliere wrote:--> Yak-List message posted by: "Rick Basiliere" There is a tool for the job in the Engine Tool Kit. I'll see tomorrow if I can get a pix for you. I am thinking of grinding down an open end or welding a handle on a socket and grinding the top off so the screw driver will fit down the center. --------------------------------- ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 05:08:24 PM PST US From: Craig Payne Subject: Re: Yak-List: Huosai valve adjustment tool --> Yak-List message posted by: Craig Payne Call Doug Sapp, he sells 'em piece by piece. P.S. For the most part, Chinese tools and Russian tools are interchangeable. Both do the job. The other stuff leaks out everywhere. It took two oil changes before my engine and prop behaived properly again (i.e. oil consumption, seapage, and the amount that collected in the bottom clyinders near zero). Mike Ernie wrote:--> Yak-List message posted by: "Ernie" I'd like to hear some pros and cons to using straight Aero Shell 120 in the Housai engines. I am currently using the Phillips 25W60. I dont think that I really need to use a multigrade here in Fl since our winters are so mild and our summers so hot. My neighbor switched from the Phillips to the 120 in his T6 and said his oil consumption went down dramatically. Ernie ---------------------------------
