The June FAST Clinic (here in Memphis, June 27-29) originally listed on the
various events calendar has been changed in scope. The clinic will be small
in scale, allowing Yak Pilots Association instructors to come together and
work on some standardization issues and programs that we feel will benefit
the group as a whole.=0D
=0D
In particular, we are going to use the clinic to introduce a new YPA Initial
Aircraft Checkout program to instructors, and have them become "YPA Approved
=2E This course will provide a way for pilots new to our aircraft to get
standardized training from approved instructors with the hopes of improving
safety. It will also allow for discounted insurance rates from at least one
of our agents (Cannon Aviation Insurance). We also plan to take photos and
video to supplement our FAST training programs. =0D

For those in the Southeast still interested in doing some FAST Training, we
will look at putying together an event for later in the year! Standby for
