Worked on the CJ all day. Finally determined my failing brakes were due to
the drums wearing out (some 4 years old). This after I rebuilt both the QS-1
and QS2 valves, did leak checks on the brake lines, and bladders, plus removed,
cleaned, measured, and checked the brake pucks.
Sooooo. I'm setting up late, watching the NASA channel and the new Mars
Rover count down (now scrubbed because of weather) and I notice something over
by
my bed room door, that don't look right. It looked like a shoe lace. Then
the shoe lace moved!!!!!!!
It was a baby rat snake that had somehow gotten into my house.
I think today will be spent checking all AND I MEAN ALL, the door seals. God
help me if my wife ever finds out about this!
BTW the rat snake is now in the swamp across the street. Ha Florida living!
