--> Yak-List message posted by: "Max Mascioni" <maxmasci@tin.it> Hallo yakkers, pay attention, the 6 m/sec crosswind limitation correspond to 11.6 Kt, "When the wind velocity is greater than 15 m/sec, the flights are banned" means 29.2 kt of wind. Time ago someone told me that the 6 m/sec (11.2 kt) limitation of YAK-52 is to avoid lateral stress on main gear legs structure. True? Max

--> Yak-List message posted by: "Frank Haertlein" <yak52driver@earthlink.net> Max; Sounds like good advice. On the day I made the landing I made two aborted attempts before I got smart and landed without flaps. That big old rudder sure does help to keep you straight.
