However I must tell you, as for my own opinion those prices rather below my personal expectations concerned many particular items. truly, Alexandr --- Mark Schrick wrote: > --> Yak-List message posted by: "Mark Schrick" > > > I have sent my offer for the parts on your > spreadsheet twice now. They obviously do not own anything, and are scampering back and forth between their computer and the real owner of the parts. I would think that sending anything to them would be pretty risky as you are really not dealing just with him but you are at the whim of the real owner or owners of the parts. I have asked them for a list of people who might recommend them as business people of good standing, I have not received any answers. I also asked them if they were in fact the owners of the parts---no answer. They seem to expect that everyone will line up (with our pockets bulging, to bid on the parts and they will make a fat profit. I think I'll pass on this one.......as it looks like a duck to me. That's an easy thing to do from anywhere in the world. Winning bidder should use an escrow payment service. Anybody out there sitting on (excuse the pun) a spare set of seat packs? Always yakin, Doug ________________________________ Message 8 _____________________________________ Time: 08:48:19 PM PST US From: A K Subject: Yak-List: An open letter to Mr. Douglas Sapp. --> Yak-List message posted by: A K An open letter to Mr. Douglas Sapp. Sir I told you clearly about the history of our Yak-52 spares. I am co-owner, OK? That is clear reason of why I could not put my own price or decide about the prices myself. I shall discuss that together with two my friends, who are flying instructors for Yak-52, by the way. It requires time. Many thanks for your advice on how to make business. I respect your experience. However I myself finally will decide the way to do it. Actually, not a secret, the spare parts for Yak-52 do not have fix prices. Somebody sells one item for 5000 pounds, another guy would sell the same for 500 dollars. We do not have large stock. And what we have, we want to sell to a gentleman who pays best price. I guess everything is clear and simple. As for your dirty words: these folks dont know their ass from their elbow, etc. I just would advise you watch and investigate your own ass. truly, Alexandr --- Doug wrote: > --> Yak-List message posted by: "Doug" > > > My personal opinion is that these folks dont know > their ass from their > elbow. I had a parachute guy in Woodland, CA look them over, he said they were OK but he didn't have time to repack them. I think you saw them at Red Star.
