AK has made everyone aware that he has parts to sell as has Doug. That is a service and a valid use of this mailing list. My earlier comment was meant to suggest that the private negotiations should be taken into private e-mail, not continue on the public list. Even so that is not a major problem. Let's try to keep this cordial and professional. -- Brian Lloyd 6501 Red Hook Plaza, Suite 201 brian@lloyd.com St. Thomas, VI 00802 +1.340.998.9447 - voice +1.360.838.9669 - fax GMT-4

--> Yak-List message posted by: "Ernie" <ernest.martinez@oracle.com> From my understanding, chutes must be certified, by the FAA kinda like airplanes. For example I have the original Russian chutes in my L-29 and they arent legal, but I can keep them in my airplane becuase they're considered part of the seat assembly. I was able to find a guy in Fl, who actually re-packs them. I dont know how similar the chinese chutes are to the russian ones.
