What was the fuel pressure reading when the problem occurred? When it occurred did you try pumping the primer pump just to see if it had any affect? Did you try isolating the misfiring to one mag or the other and if so, what was the result? With the blurb in Sport Aviation on the subject I'm sure many of you 52 drivers have , like me first annual we found a screw stuck in the elevator pulley. Never really thought it was a chronic problem but maybe i was wrong. Dennis is working on a barrier for this (thank you , Dennis) but there may be another answer. Pulleys are for continuous motion, like a fan belt. Why couldn't the limited motion of the elevator be controlled with a push rod? C'mon you engineer types, we're Experimental.
