Fellow Warbird Drivers,
Drew is working hard to bring the new RedStar Pilots Association website on
line so we can complete the transition from the YPA website. Drew is running
into the same problem we had four years ago when we cranked up the Yak Pilots
Association--it takes a financial shot in the arm to get things started. The RPA
has had several very generous donations to the cause in the last few weeks
but we are still short of the funding we need to pay for the new website
development. A small contribution from each member would go a long way toward
launching this effort. It's a terrific website, with capabilities far beyond our
current site.
I am sending $20.00, earmarked for the new website. If you are able, any
contribution, large or small, will help. Even $5 from each member could get us
over the top.

The manual mentioned below we have scanned teh pictures and are 50% of teh way
through translation. It will be sold at $120 per copy to cover approx 4 months
of evenings for the translator.
I expect it to be ready for Chrissie pressy time!!.
The document gives a lot of info especially on instrument flying along with all
the normal stuff you would expect and aerobatics.

(A.E. Korovin ''Yak-52 posobie letchiku'' , Moscow,
DOSAAF USSR, 1987). It's good, illustrated edition,
120 color pages of A4 format.
I have some scannered page samples to show what it is.
I can send you CD copy of this book for $350
(shipment included).

Mark, I am interested in the manual. Being American I don't understand
Chrissie pressy time. When would that be. I will be in the UK next month and
