to apply the "squared" rule to a Housai. Anyone really flying 2000 RPM with
550mm MAP? Also, that guy who first flew across the Atlantic would disagree
about the squared rule since running the engine behind the prop is how he
made it across. The slower the engine turns the less fuel it burns.

1) Does anybody know when RPA dues are due? How do I know if I'm current?
2) If I got my formation card with CAF, is it a good idea to send the
paperwork to RPA as well? Who's the contact to send F.A.S.T. paperwork to?
Thanks,
Jon

Mr Boede,
Your current through the fourth quarter (last day) of 2003 with the RPA.
In answer to your questions, which may help others:
1. Members who need to renew memberships by the end of the year, or are
overdue, will soon be receiving a e-mail reminder, I don't expect the
membership to track their renewal date. We currently have 259 members in
the catagory of "needing to renew". Notices will go out shortly and we hope
to move all renewals to a Jan 1st renewal date.
2. Please send a copy of your FAST paperwork to our Chairman of Records at:
Mike Filucci, FAST Records Chairman
1600 Berry Rose Court #2B
Frederick, MD 210701-9016
Card issue costs only $10.00 for current RPA members FAST qualified and
current.
Thanks,
Any questions, please e-mail me off list,
Drew
