We went to the trouble of translating this so these type of problems dont happen, www.yakuk.com/manuals.asp has the details. MJ Yaksters Just had my Russian seat pack repacked. The shute packer removed the automatic opening device saying there was an AD against it. Also looks like he packed them too thick and now it won't fit the seat pan. Makes me think this guy don't know what he's doing. Maybe I'm wrong.......anybody know if there is, in fact, an AD against the automatic opening device in the Russian shutes? Also, is there going to be a shute packer at Red Stars? I had the same prop on M14P with Russian flange last year and we balance it to .02IPS with about 35g of weight. On my M14PF engine the Chadwick is asking for 90g of weight and the guy who tried to balance it refused to use that much weight. He recomends taking the prop off and sending it for static balancing first. From your experience with M14s, how much weight is too much? To me the engine feels normal, but his equipement reads .45IPS. I think I should feel the diference in the cocpit between .02 and .45IPS.
