I forgot to say that Craig's aircraft is a CJ. I hope some of the procedure will
be good information for YAK mechanics also. If anyone noticed my errors or need
a better proof read copy of the procedure contact me off list.

Japan may have the most powerfull engine, but most ships get Korean engines
as they are more reliable! (Discovery Channel)

What is the advantage of these reciprocating engines over the steam turbine?

They are simple and self contained, they require almost no tending, and they can
be run from the bridge. Go look at how many people you need to stand watch
over a steam turbine plant. As I recall, one of my captain friends told me that
standard engineering watch for the big diesel-powered ships is one person.

Yaksters;
I'm looking for new 8 inch rims/wheels that can be adapted to the 52
main gear. I'm looking to use an 8 inch rim and mound the existing brake
drum to it and then fit the whole assembly on the 52 main gear. Anyone
have an idea as to which rim/wheel would work for this?
Thanks in advance.
Frank
