--> Yak-List message posted by: "Lance Robb" <lrob4783@bigpond.net.au> Hi Guys, I read recently here that the CJ6 climbs a lot better and picks up around 10 knots better airspeed with the M14 fitted. What sort of consumption figures would you expect from this? Regards, Lance Robb NQ Warbirds Aust

--> Yak-List message posted by: Bill Geipel <czech6@earthlink.net> Bt then I will have no life at all!. Nomex is only good for 10 seconds max! This is not a safety thread. This image only. You are not going to burn in a midair. If you can get out, with the wing gone you will be lucky. If burning on landing, it was probably the landing. I agree it is time to move on. Tell your RC you want a vote. I am not sure the RC has anything to do with the chain of command. Call the BOD's and tell them. How about some fly-ins through out the country. I would love to go to OSH but its 5 fuel stops each way. I would have to leave now to make it. Fly-ins = a reason to get together for eating and drinking.

Ernie, You are close, but no cigar! -- there are two things a Lead Pilot can do that a Wing Pilot cannot: 1. endorse recommendations for Lead and Wing check rides 2. endorse the Formation Proficiency Reports A Wing Pilot can lead flights and can also act as an IP, assuming they are capable to do so, of course.
