Greg,
I'm sorry, but due to our EAA chapter cook out on the 19th, we won't be able
to make the St. Elmo fly-in.
Best wishes,
Dennis

Yak Cowlings
=D8 50 / 52 are the same.
=D8 Although in theory interchangeable, in practice top and bottom are matched
pairs.
=D8 Current price in Russia for new cowlings US $1,500 to US $2,000.=20
=D8 Importantly there are very few around, and like many Yak parts will become
much more difficult to get, and therefore presumably expensive in the future.
=D8 We have just had a batch of Sukhoi front nose cowlings made in the Ukraine,
quite complex since double skinned etc =96 almost US $3,000 each pair in
advance, in cash etc.

Sun 'n Funners,
There will be 3 rental car vendors at Zephyrhills (ZPH) for
pick-up and drop off:
Enterprise: 813-788-4600
Avis: 727-841-7880 (after hours 727-243-2736
Jomax (local car dealer) 813-788-5539 ask for rentals when
calling
Jomax prices run from $215 for a Sunday-Sunday rental on a
compact to $300/wk for a minivan, lots cheaper that the
pick-up rates at LAL where the bottom end starts at $79/day.
