--> Yak-List message posted by: "Janet Davidson" <gbvfx@hotmail.com> It's tough here in FLA during March, I made the mistake of wearing my Southern Florida Uniform to the Frozen North in Ocala for the Mini-clinic. Shut that air vent! Craig My heart bleeds for you! Last time I flew the Nanchang (2 weeks ago) I was wearing a snowbmobile suit, warm pink boots, gloves and a woolly hat. Remember the "frozen north"? Always Yakin, Doug Sapp -----Original Message----- From: owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com]On Behalf Of ByronMFox@aol.com Subject: Re: Yak-List: stick grip --> Yak-List message posted by: ByronMFox@aol.com Aircraft Spruce sells a standard military B8 grip for $144 (http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/elpages/b8pistolgrip.php) I happened to find one on Ebay as well. Used one of the buttons for smoke, and may find a use for the other buttons in time. Note that an adapter has to be milled to accommodate the diameter of the CJ's stick. I concur with Barry. Infinity makes a great product and provides the adapter. I had a pair in my Lancair . ...Blitz Byron M. Fox Mill Valley, CA 415-307-2405 Nanchang CJ-6A N221YK

Your kind to offer, Doug, but a local pilot-machine-shop-owner-friend already did. Thanks, Blitz

Clear blue skies and light wind, temp in the high 60's. Got to see a head on pass by a P-51 as we headed over to X35 for petrol and take a look at the B-24, 17, and 25 of the Collings Foundation. We are working with 3 newbies and they are coming along fine. Having great fun too. Pappy ---------------------- Outstanding!!! all I can say is I am SOOOOOOO jealous of you guys!!! :) It sounds like you guys had some fun. I got all ready to go only to find that my #1 cylinder decided not to participate, I hope it's nothing major. Anyway, I should be back in the air real soon. I hope we can all get together again before SNF. Hope all is well, Jim (Launch Pad)Plumlee Oh, btw, give Alex a pat on the back.. He's a great stick. Makes me think of my best friend Brian Walsh. We both started flying when we were 14 years old. Brian is 27 now. He graduated from the Airforce Academy in 99 ...he flys F-16's out of shaw... In fact he's about to take his last flight in april, then it's off to Valdosta,Ga, to be a T-38 Instructor.
