We also made a extra cushion to snap over the rear cushion when the chute wasn't being used. About $200. I think DaBear swallowed one when his engine choked over lake Michigan a couple of years ago. When he landed back at OSH, there was a cushion gone MIA. :-) Stephen Fox wrote: --> Yak-List message posted by: Stephen Fox Anyone know where I can get seat cushions for the 52? The cost is $100.00. There will be about 20 round engines there. Mostly T-6's along with T-28's, 1-2 P-51's, 3 Wetumpka (08A) YAK-52's, and a CJ-6 will be there. I do not have a head count on the jets yet. For the RPA guys needing a FAST check ride, Zack McNeil from Jax said he would be there for us. Rich Hess and Scotty Patterson will be there as FAST leads and for check ride rec.'s. Need to bring enough rope to tie your birds down. They have cables on the ramp at the Dixie CAF ramp but do not have enough rope for all us goats. Since these are hydraulic kinda guys, you need to bring your on scuba tanks and hookups (Russian or Schrader). You will need to contact the Wyndham Peachtree Conference conference Center at 1.800.996.3426 before 8 APR 05 to get the discount. They are discounting the rooms to $69 for single and $89 for double. I have stayed there before, it is a nice facility. Transportation will be provided to and from the motel and FFC. Lunches and supper will be included in the cost (as I have been told). You will need to tell the Wyndham that you are attending the Dixie Wing CAF conference to get the discount. Again, you need to do that before 8 Apr 05 Need to contact John Currenti @ darthtat@bellsouth.com or Roger Kemp@ viperdoc@mindspring.com. You can also contact the air boss at skipperh@mindspring.com. If you need more info let me know. I was given a copy of Pilot Journal today with a special article on CJ's today. I was "amused" by some of the "facts" and statistics on the airplane, but otherwise a nice read. I am really starting to miss the fact that I'm gonna miss S&F this year with my airplane due to its cosmetic overhaul that I have embarked on but I think its gonna be worth it. Watching the T-Bird show gives me a new found appreciation for the military influenced professionalism that the RPA brings to its events. Being a civilian pilot who has been through RPA's events gives me a different viewpoint and respect to what the "Pros" do in real life. How bought we work on a vertical break like the Blues. Just wanted to say "I'm proud to be a Red Star Pilot"!!! Ernie
