--> Yak-List message posted by: "Ron Spencer" <splitimage.wing@verizon.net> Hi Doug...FYI For those who have inquired, my book entitled "A Guide To Civilian Formation Aerobatics" has been completed. It is a comprehensive detailed examination of the subject. The final manuscript has been edited and the first 50 editions are published. They are now available and will be sold on a first come first serve basis. I truly wanted to keep the price under $20 USD, however evidently I have lost touch with printing costs! Therefore, the final cost of the guide will be $30 plus $4.95 for shipping within the continental United States. For those of you who reside elsewhere please send an appropriate additional amount for a package that weighs 1 lb (16 ounces), and measures 9 X12 X 1 inches. Until I set up the website to process payment online, please send a check or money order for $30, plus shipping, along with your mailing address, and I will ship by parcel post directly to you. Make the check out to: "Ron Spencer", and mail it to: Ron Spencer Airshows 701 Glenside Road Millville, NJ 08332 Thanks, and enjoy it! -rs- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Sapp" <rvfltd@televar.com> Subject: RE: Yak-List: Formation Aerobatics > --> Yak-List message posted by: "Doug Sapp" <rvfltd@televar.com> > > Ron, > Please put me on your list and let me know when it's ready. > > Always Yakin, > Doug Sapp > > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com > [mailto:owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com]On Behalf Of Ron Spencer > To: yak-list@matronics.com > Subject: Re: Yak-List: Formation Aerobatics > > > --> Yak-List message posted by: "Ron Spencer" > <splitimage.wing@verizon.net> > > Funny you mention that... > > I am in the process of finishing a manuscript for that very purpose. > Though > the name (at this time) is somewhat boring ... > "A Guide To Civilian Formation Aerobatics", it will be a very > comprehensive > package to include flight lesson sorties and an example of a aerial > display > dissected in detail. --> Yak-List message posted by: "Gene Stansbery" <estansbery@houston.rr.com> In case you haven't heard, Trumpeter has announced that it will release a 1/32 scale, injection molded kit of the CJ6 sometime this summer. You can pre order from several model shops now. Retail is about $40 but street price is about $30. Gene Stansbery N2278

I felt I was doing well if I could get 500 hours on an AI before having to rebuild. Ever had a catastrophic failure of the rotor bearings? The "BANG" will certainly get your attention. But like everything else that depends on a computer, everyone wants to try to do everything in one box. The result is "spaghetti code" that is flaky. But it doesn't have to be that way. Server boxes I have built have run for two or three years straight without so much as a hiccup. Now to do that same thing for engine monitors and the like. The stuff we are building will go in my airplane where I will bet my life on it. I figure that, if it is safe enough for me and my kids, it will be OK for you too. -- Brian Lloyd 6501 Red Hook Plaza brian-yak@lloyd.com Suite 201 http://www.lloyd.com St. Thomas, VI 00802 +1.340.998.9447 (voice) +1.270.912.0788 (fax) I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things . . . - Antoine de Saint-Exupery
