Barry and all,
I suggest you consider Grand Rapids Technology EFIS units.
www.grtavionics.com Their display is readable in absolute darkness, in
mid-day sun, and with the sun at your back, in your eyes, and with side
angle sun reflecting in the screen.
While Greg at Blue Mountain is talented, I have found that he consistently
promises more than he delivers and problems are always someone else's fault.
He's not exactly Mr. personality when the equipment isn't working either.
As for his support, you only have to be around him a little while to find
out he is a designer, NOT a mechanic.
I have no financial interest in GRT, don't personally know anyone who does
have a financial interest in the company or who works there. Our
relationship is that I'm a satisfied customer.
