Your kind thoughts are appreciated.
So sad that terrorists fail to study their targets and take lessons from
history.
In not too distant times the combined evil of Adolf Hitler and the Wehrmacht
plus
Herman Goering and the Luftwaffa failed miserably to break Londoners or the
British Peoples resolve.
Similarly and more recently various Para-Military Groups have likewise
abjectly failed.

The reality is that we knew it was going to happen at some time just as we
know it is going to happen again. The important thing is to accept this
knowledge with the resolve that it will never allow them to take control of
the situation. We should always be taking the fight to them our reaction to
events like those of yesterday is as it should be, lick your wounds and get
back in the ring.
The UK is a country of individuals that unite under adversity. I am British
I live in New Jersey, work in Manhattan, in fact I was under tower 2 when
the second plane hit. To see the two cities that have played the biggest
part in my life hit by these scum does not make me scared, it does not
terrorize me as they would wish. I just accept it and that is all.
As all of this plays out in the future just remember that, as Samuel Johnson

Have you tried Craig Barnett at www.schemedesigners.com (201 569 7785)? He
has done paintschemes for some Yaks already and he has the details for my
Nanchang, so could use that as a base for your one. He's great to work

Kevin,
Good to see the "Stiff Upper Lip" of the Brits. This came at a time when
the liberals were starting to get a foot hold again. Seems a number of my
fellow Americans were losing their resolve. They were begining to worry
about their school systems, health care, how much money they can reap for
their pet social give away programs for votes by cutting military spending,
and labling Iraq a quagmire. What they do not realize is that if we lose
this war on terror and the likes of Iran and Serria gain control, all their
trivial worries will end with their beheadings. This is a battle for our
survival. These people are barbarians. Our liberals talk about a bunch of
prisoners at Abu Grav being made to strip and lay in a pile as being a war
crime. A war crime is murdering civilians going about their daily
lives. These poor unsuspecting soles were only trying to take care of their
families. To have the day rudely distroyed by a series bomb blasts while
you are reading the daily news on your commute home. That is a War Crime!
Cutting the heads off of civilians is a War Crime! Flying airliners with
inocent civilians on board through builds containing civilians is a War
Crime. Enough is enough. It is time to unlease the full strenght of our
respective military forces! Hey you can still burn radioactive oil, you
just will not have the carbon units on the surface to object to the taking
or raise the cost of a barrel any longer. Just kidding. But unfortunately,
it may come to that if we continue to let the radical Mullahs spew their
hatred for the western man ( the Crusader and Infidel).
Sorry my blood is boiling over this whole issue. And to find out the
Taliban are threatening to decapitate the surviving Seal in Afganistan. I
know what a B-1 in full supersonic cook flying up a closed canyon at 100
ft will do for a team of trapped special ops troops about to be overwhelmed
by Al Quaeda and Taliban in the mountains of Afganistan. Seems the enemy
suffered from a severe case of bloody noses, ruptured/bleeding ears and
disorientation when captured! All of that with the "Bone" being Winchester!
Wonder how they will feel after a series of 5000 lb Daisy Cutters are
pickeled on their heads.
Pay back can be a bitch!
Doc

You are so right Doc. There is no compromise with these terrorists. There
is no negotiating. Simply put, their only goal is to aniliate western
civilization. Period, end of sentence. The "woosies" of the world will try
to buy them off or give in to their threats. The liberals all claim it was
because of the involvement in Iraq. That's just B.S.! We have only two
choices as does all of western civilization....do nothing and watch everyone
die or aniliate the bastards. I prefer the latter.
Do NOT give up this fight again terrorism.

I tried sending this last night but it got bounced:
Well, I'm sickend by todays events in London, and I express my
sincerest condolenses to our British friends, and offer our whole
hearted support as they did for us on 9/11 and to this day.
I know that this cowardly act will backfire on those spineless
murderers and will in effect galvanise the UK's people's will against
those who try to deny them their freedom. Just as it hapened during
those dark days of the blitz, they will unite and show those who would
attack them that they will not be intimidated. To quote a great
orator;
June 4th 1940
"... I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if
nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they
are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our
Island home, to ride out the storm of war, and to outlive the menace
of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone.
At any rate, that is what we are going to try to do. That is the
resolve of His Majesty's Government-every man of them. That is the
will of Parliament and the nation."
Hitler under estimated the will of the British people, as did these
lowest forms of bi-pedally mobile human excrement. The Brits will hunt
them down and kill them with a stiff upper lip, and probably a stiffer
kick in the ass!
Respectfully
Ernie

Troops,
I think (or I believe) I've found the source of my oil leak that was so
noticeable at the GED clinic. AT first I thought it was the prop shaft seal
leaking on my M-14p. Now I know it wasn't.
As most you know, I had the nose section off the engine several months back
to reassemble a cam roller (long story). I had to make paper gaskets to
replace the old ones. I believe these to be the part of the problem. Also I
found about 45% of the nuts that hold the nose section on were loose. Some
taking as much as 2 turns. After tightening these nuts up and doing a very
careful clean-up of the engine, after 3 test runs, I have only found a small leak
at #2 cylinder exhaust rocker bolt.
I'd like to know the torque values for these nose section nuts which are 11
mm nuts. I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly and I don't have a
detailed book.

Although I do not have the torque specs for the nose case 11mm nuts, one can
use the accepted torque specs for other 11mm nuts used on the M14. (Torque
specs are usually based on stud and nut size assuming the stud material is
the same). Those being the 11mm nuts that secure the compressor to the
accessory case. I do have the torque specs for them; 61-78 inch pounds.
Hope that helps.
