Ah, Fall. The latest cold front swept the sky clear and bright down here, with
modest dew points. Doesn't get any better than this. One downside: the intense
cold has forced me into long pants and long-sleeved shirts. Geez, soon I may
even need a to wear jacket and close the vent :>)
Another downside; lots of overseas flying tourists. Ran across a couple of Brits
in powered 'chute's yesterday at a grass strip. I tried to explain the concept
of Class D airspace but they just a vague idea what I was talking about. They
zipped right across the ILS 5 approach and through Class D at 25mph, crossing
the active approach of 9, right on the glideslope.
BTW, the vents for CO have helped and the 3" exhaust tip extensions keep the belly
a lot cleaner.
