Well that was a blast! We had ~ 9 Yak/CJ's , 2 T-6's, P-51, T-33, SBD, Couple
of Jap planes.. and the usual RV's, Waco's, etc.. The weather turned out to
be fine, and we got several fun flights in.. I will post some pics later when
I get to a good connection.. Maybe Dennis has some from the ground..

To all of those coming:
Tim Williams spoke to one of the coordinators, and here is the scoop for
Saturday:
" Spoke with one of the coordinators of the flyin yesterday, he said the
runs would be over by 8:30 am, he wanted planes in between 9:00-10:00 am. Said
18/36 would be closed for the run, but other runway would stay open."
So plan on arriving ~ 9-10am , if you are coming, please drop me an email,
so I know who to look for.

If you have to give an N number, look in Trade a Plane and find a bird that is
similar to what you need. It works well but it kind of screws the guy with the
plane for sale.

Aircraft owners,
A really important new module was completed by the code team and installed today at www.flyredstar.org called Aircraft Sales.
RPA members can upload their aircraft for sale for free in a snap, and it displays
all pics and info to the general public - check it out and load your aircraft.
The "Aircraft Sales" link is right on the home page of the site, and if
your logged in, its always present under "Member Services"
This is a pretty cool hand-coded online service, and the RPA will be publishing
an association advertisment in Aero-trader and other publications to advertise
the RPA, and in turn, these member services, so upload your bird for sale,
it takes minutes.
Also, the FAST roster under formation is now fully automated based off your membership
profiles. Check this module out anytime you need to find a FAST pilot...if
you find anything we need to address, email us directly off list...

Drew,
I am please to inform you that I just finished installing and testing new website
components. The Aircraft Sales component is complete. As well, the Fast Member
Roster is up and running too.
I have tested both modules quite extensively, but as I have come to see, I am
sure our diverse member base will find a bug. When they do, I will address it
as quickly as possible and respond with results.
Where now?
Well, for the next week I would like to address a few clean up issues. These
are:
A few graphical fixes.
Changes needed to the RPA store to allow easier and more accurate data retrieval
of end of month logs.
Minor bug fix on RPA's ECHO system. (At this time, there seems to be a bug with
out of country credit card users.)
Additional Pubs pages added to website.
Any other back burner items placed on hold because I wanted to finish up Aircraft
Sales.
Then what?
Then it is the events page. Drew, get prepared, your up next. We will have some
phone conversations, some mockups and flowcharts over the new event pages.
Once everyone agrees on how it should look I will get cooking on coding it.
So, go have a look at the new items, play with them a bit, and let me know what
you think.
