There is going to be a Warbird Rally at Mayport Naval Air Station in
Jacksonville Fl. on June 2nd and 3rd. I have been asked to scrounge up
a few more CJ's/Yaks so we can fly some formation. The first evening
we will be driven to Jax beach for Cocktails, and then we will return
to the base where you and your GIB will spend the night on the
Aircraft Carrier USS JFK, followed by a hangar party the next day at
Herlong HEG.
This is by invitation only and there is limited space. I know there is
room for at least 3 more. First come first served.

The CJ & Red Star Assoc' have recognition !.............The UK's Pilot
Magazine
has a single column article about the Formation arrival at Sun 'n Fun on
page 7.
.....another snippet on page 14 shows Leeward Air Ranch that I believe is
home
to one or more member including Ernie...and on page 60 the CJ gets a rare
UK plug as a great bet for a group aerobatic aircraft ! (remember there are
only
a couple in the UK) ........and then on page 64 the massed Yak50/52 and CJ
6's
Formation flyovers get another few lines in a Sun 'n Fun
review.............Yes you
guys really are on the map now !!!
