Great to hear that!!!! I hope you got some pictures for the magazine. I

Looking forward to June when we have LaCross, WI. (16-17). Springfield, IL.

I could not agree more with Jay. This was a great weekend, the City reached
out to all the pilots, and took care of us across the board. They did
everything they could to make sure there were planes in the air all the
time, and that the crowds enjoyed everything they saw. I had to leave early
but I was in 4 different formation flights between 10am and 3 pm, a lot of
flying and a lot of fun.
I did not get many pictures, as we were flying all the dang time.. we will
have to work on that I guess.
Thank you Dennis and Ray for allowing us to participate and coordinating the
event, the city should be proud..
Ernie had to been driven home by the Police Friday night.. well, the city
police were our drivers the entire weekend, they took us everywhere we
needed to go, and took great care of us. We were able to take many of the
City VIP's and USMC pilots that were there up in our back seats, and had a
blast.
What was there..
KC-130 USMC
AH-1W USMC
UH-1N USMC
Falcon - Coast Guard
Dauphin - Coast Guard
T-34D's - Navy
(2) Yak 9's
(2) L-39's
(6) CJ's
(6) Yak's
(7) RV- N's
(3) T-6's
(4) Biplanes ( travel airs, ect )
And other misc airplanes.. Good times
REMINDER - Scottsbouro, AL fly in is THIS weekend - May 27th , if you are
not already coming, make plans to come up/over/down - should be just as fun
as Fairhope

Fairhope ALThanks Jay. It was great to have you and Alex at Fairhope.
I spoke to the chairman of the planning committee and he told me to tell
everyone that next year will be a TWO DAY event and even better than
this year! I am already looking forward to it.
Best regards,
Dennis

Fairhope AL Thank you as well David. Your participation was very much
appreciated and I enjoyed flying with you. BTW, for those that did
not attend, the "significant others" that attended with us thoroughly
enjoyed themselves. And yes, David was not exaggerating. Each of our
GMC SUV's was driven by a Fairhope police officer. Wherever and
whenever we wanted to be transported, they were at our beckon call. In
fact, on Saturday night we needed a table for 14 people for dinner.
Once we decided where we wanted to go, our police officer/driver went to
the hostess of the restaurant personally and within minutes we were
"accommodated". Simply amazing!

Ok I'm now out of character by posting on this list but my hat is off to Dennis
and Ray for this great event, any replies will not seen by me since I do not

What is the correct inspection or procedure for the M-14P to put it back
in service after a groud strike which was on a Yak 52 which had a
whirlwind prop?
