You might check with Nik Timofeev in Ocala, Florida, niktim@earthlink.net. He
is a Russian engineer with a US A&P, Unlimited pilot and instructor and knows
the Sukhoi/Yaks well - he does Annual Conditional inspections on them.
I heard Smash was looking at a beast like this in TX - is this the one? I have
my doubts you can properly bolt the short wing on a longwing fuselage - but Nik
would be able to better answer this. I guess the better question would be...Why
would ya? I flew Unlimited with Smashes Longwing...

Yes, there is no problem to bolt the wings on directly but why would you
given that the educated view is that the 55 is a better aircraft than the
55M?

Do I presume that it works the other way around as well?
Hmmm...

Subject: | CJ Engine Dieseling |
I have had my engine continue to run roughly thru a couple of revolutions
(not kick backwards) after the mags have been switched off. The engine has
about 35 hours since major and the plugs are clean. I have been running a mix
of
Auto and 100LL but had the same problem with straight 100LL .
What can I do to stop the dieseling?
Phil

Gents,
I have been asked for permission to make large
prints of the pictures I took at ARS 2006. Please
feel free to download and use the pictures however you
choose. If prints are made, and you feel indebted for
some reason, you can always send me a copy...

am doing!
