The RPA has made a big push to stay away from Paypal.
The reason is internal to RPA, tracking and reconciling purchases and
memberships through paypal is very time consuming, the credit card
facilities we are using are more automated.

None insight.
Weather, 5,000 overcast vis 10nm. (My estimate). Radar shows TS West to
North moving ENE at 40 kts. Level strength is reducing.
Expect some rain within the next hour or so.
No decent bar found yet. Despite.

Since we all used to use paypal to get our YAK o bilila for the RPA store or

our Ebay excursions, I am sending this message out to warn of a pfishing
expedition going on. I have been querried on a couple of occassions by this
fake
site asking for me to confirm a paypal purchase made. The intro on the email
looks exactly like PayPal'. The problem is it does not begin with my name
but
began with "Dear PayPal Member,". It is a fake company originating in
Canada.
Sorry my Canadian friends you have an international scam in your midst. So
if
you get this querry go up under message click on the window and then click
on
message source. If it comes out as user@mail.tzjt.gov.cn, it is a fake and
add
it to your spam folder!

Those planning to arrive at noon on Friday will have a number of problems.
Starting at 1020 jets will be practing until until 1230 hours. We are
schedule to start Media rides at 1250.
The Airboss is pretty much stuck with a tight schedule with the jets (F-15
and
such) You can't not expect much help from him.

Sorry for this off topic excursion, but I've just bought a vintage
BSA motorcycle from a dood just South of Nashville and he's trying
to arrange to meet me for the cash/bike swap somehwere near
Columbus, Ohio. Does anyone on the list have any "local knowledge"
of a nice little town etc. in the vicinity of Columbus or slightly
North,
perhaps Mansfield which might have few standard type hotels which
might help us get the transaction done out of the way of a large City?
We'd be on Highway 71 between Cleveland and Cincinnati. Nicely
enough, the Bride's ammenable to the whole process but appreciates
outdoor pools at the Hotels. Any chances at Malls and off road
shopping diversions makes her even more lively later at night...if
ye get me' drift.... Thanks..
