My Yak 52 engine has always run well, particularly after adding Dennise's ignition
kit. The cylinder head temp, though, has been about 10C higher than I liked.
Fuel pressure has been about 2 Rooskies, which is the bottom end of the range.
Dennis and Tommy Hudson suggested to try increasing the fuel pressure. I turned
the screw on the bottom of the fuel pump in 3/4 turn. Fuel pressure now
3 1/2 Rooskies. Temps dropped 10 C. and engine even smoother. Perhaps slightly
lean previously?
The above is just for general information.

Register on the RPA website? Nope. It's hosed again. Talented web coders are great
but it don't mean squat without a good web architecture, site design and
system test. What's fixed seems broke again, and again.
If money at OSH is the issue (yet again), just put a donation box on top of the
water/drinks chest and holler at everyone to feed the kitty when the money is
low. Works everywhere else.

Gang -
This is the plan. I am still holding out that the board/leadership
has some sponsor contacts. I bitched about the cost and having to
beg people to chip in last year - that will be different this year.
The RV is not rented, no tsirts, etc.
Those who fly with Sergei - pay Sergei.
I will have cold drinks at the RV in OSH and there will be a kitty
like Craig says.
The EAA hanger in MTW provides a stocked fridge and a meal on Sat
night the 22nd if you are there. We will ask for a few bucks for the
cook out if you eat there. and have a drink kitty in MTW as well.
DON'T SWEAT GETTING HIT UP FOR AN EVENT FEE !!!
Registering just helps get a head count, that's all.
I did not put an event fee at all !!!
Email me, Web site, send a carrier pigeon - I don't care.
If you've sent an email or registered on the web - great, thanks -
don't keep doing it again.
