Guys,
I've got the air charging tools in stock. No need to machine anything.
http://www.wlacrussianeng.co.uk/main.asp?ID=&Product=148
It can also be supplied with a hose and union to fit most dive bottles.

Oh! Without the cover plate, my solution won't work.

Thanks but, I need the fitting (the cover plate) that twists onto
the side of the fuse, before I can start attaching valves?

fitting???
Buy a Schrader valve fitting, 1/8" NPT threads, drill and tap the
cover plate in the center, and install the Schrader valve. Remove the
valve core from the Schrader valve. You don't need it.

Then buy this coupler/adapter from Aircraft Tool Supply and mount it
to the air hose that attaches to your high pressure air tank.

Anyone have a set of yak tools and/or the adapter fitting for
connecting a hose the fuse for refilling the air in the bottles?
If so, contact me off line.
Thanks,
Kregg

Pete, I'll measure mine if you are just talking about something to sit on. I use
mine when the 'chutes are out or when the Co-owner and Mother of my Children
wants to ride. They were made up in Tijuana at one of those car interior places.
The foam zips out so the cover can be cleaned. "pleats" with extra material
on top.
I suggest only top grade aircraft interior fabric or automotive Dacron. However,
you could re-cycle some old leather car seat material. OTOH, most of my flying
requires a parachute; the Squadron Pack with temper foam cushion works too.

Try boat cushions bungee corded together for seat cushions. Three work for
me.

Subject: | Re: Seat cushions |
Oregon Aero is making up a set for my CJ6 now. Contact them for info.
Oregon Aero costs more than the local upholstery guy, but they will build a
set that is much more ergonomically designed to be comfortable, and they
will be designed to withstand an impact that might otherwise break your
thighs or screw up your back by being forced down into the bucket by a high
G impact. No guarantees, but these are the same guys whose helmet liners
are helping men and women in the current wars to survive shots to the helmet
rather than being killed or requiring multi-million dollar medical support
for the rest of their lives.
You can either have them do the final covers or have it done yourself. I am
most interested in the cores.
