If you expect regular operation at temps around and below zero it is a worth doing. However if it is occasional, still take it seriously, and oil dilution is for you to help. Bear in mind the fact that the valve, if not used regularly, might start leaking causing gradual dilution, monitor oil quantity and pressure and don't hesitate to check and clean oil filters after first couple of oil dilutions. Work out best engine start up practices-number of engine fires been seen, once started be patient and quick-don't overrev, but wait for the temp to rise. Amazing, how two hours back, being a piece of burning cold metall, gets alive taking your sweat and swear, returns it and you fly.
