Ditto - I had someone else fly my aerie and noted the master had been left
full down - no problem.

Rob,
As you have said, schematically it is virtually impossible for that to
happen. In fact, on my personal airplane (52) I have left the
battery/external power switch down for days at a time and did not have any
discharging of the aircraft battery. So whatever is causing it is not
reflected in the electrical schematics.

Thanks ... spoke to a couple of other UK based owners today ... one owns a -52
& could not comment (had not left the master down yet), the other a owns a -50
and had discharged the battery in this manner.
So no obvious pattern here (if there is one anyway) ... so would like to ask the
Yak-List if anyone else has experienced this issue to post a one-line message
giving their aircraft model & year of manufacture please.
If there are no others then I guess it's just coincidental.

YAK52/50 have left the switch down on the 52 without discharge. Have not
done that on the 50, yet.
