I'm currently shopping for a helmet plus goggles. I fly a Tiger Moth parttime and not too thrilled at using the 'community' helmet anymore. I've seen what's available on Wag-Aero, but was wondering if anyone knows of another, possibly more affordable source. Thanks!! Mike C-GYMK (Ready and arriving in April '07!) Curry's Paradox The area under the red Right Triangle change the area that the Green and Yellow (or what ever that figure's color is) has to fit into. In other words, even thought the sides are still the same lenght the size of the area under the Red vs Green right triangle increased the area size for the other two figures to reside in. That is as simple as I can get it. Doc ----- Original Message ----- From: David McGirt Sent: 3/5/2007 6:50:33 AM Subject: Yak-List: Brain Tease for your morning.. Curry's Paradox the multicolored, red and green tirangles are drawn as though they are proportional. They are not. The large triangles sides have a 2.6 to 1 ration. The red sides are 2.66667 to 1 and the green green sides are 2.5 to 1. The hyp of one or the other multicolored triangle is not a straight line. The whole thing is an optical illusion. eyeballs From: David McGirt To: yak-list@matronics.com Sent: 3/5/2007 6:50:33 AM Subject: Yak-List: Brain Tease for your morning.. Curry's Paradox It's based on an optical illusion. The hypotenuse of the large triangle (not a real triangle) is bent in both illustrations. So the lower is bulging and the upper is sagging, the white square is the difference in areas between the two. Which is a different way of describing that that has already been said ! ----- Original Message ----- From: A.
