He is experienced in Yak 50/52's, Sukhoi and the Interavia/Technoavia. He is a MT prop dealer - among other hats he wears. There are also other alternatives available new, such as in South Africa - one can buy a new leather helmet here, complete, for about $350. What is your budget? I had similar problem with hard hat required for L-29 jet. Bought some original Russian helmets, ripped out the electronics and put in new speakers & mic. One of them the mic is fixed on a boom, the other I installed the mic onto a oxygen mask bayonet, and modified a mask for a mic too. I can now unclip the mic, and clip in a oxy mask/mic combo.
