Warren, we have new nose wheel in stock. 300$. Why reinvent the wheel :-) so
to speak.

Does anyone have any information to convert the Yak 52 nose wheel to a
Cessna 182 or another type wheel. I would like to replace mine due to
pitting around the felt seal. I have not checked on availability of a
replacement OEM wheel. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for a primary bottle for my Yak-50. I think I might be able to use
a Yak-52 emergency bottle. The -50's bottle are 6 liter (primary) and 3 liter
(emer).
Anyone know of a source for these?
Thanks in advance.

Tim,
I really don't know if they are the same but I stock (factory new) both
the main and emergency bottles for the CJ6. If you have a CJ nearby
check it out.
Always yakin,
Doug

Can anyone comment on the servicing of the struts. Do I use Mil spec 5606 as the
fluid and do I compress the strut then fill with fluid then add nitrogen?
I have the Yak manual but it list fluids from Romania and is not clear as to how
much to put in and how to put the fluid in.
Thanks,
Paul Hornick

Tim:
I used to own an E-3. Very nice flying acro mount. There's a gotcha with their
canopy latch mechanism, and being able to convert from two-seat to single-seat
configurations is a huge plus.
