Why reinvent the wheel :-) so to speak. Best regards, mark www.yakuk.com/contact.asp From: "warren552" Does anyone have any information to convert the Yak 52 nose wheel to a Cessna 182 or another type wheel. I would like to replace mine due to pitting around the felt seal. I have not checked on availability of a replacement OEM wheel. Any help would be appreciated. I think I might be able to use a Yak-52 emergency bottle. The -50's bottle are 6 liter (primary) and 3 liter (emer). Anyone know of a source for these? Thanks in advance. Do I use Mil spec 5606 as the fluid and do I compress the strut then fill with fluid then add nitrogen? I have the Yak manual but it list fluids from Romania and is not clear as to how much to put in and how to put the fluid in. Very nice flying acro mount. There's a gotcha with their canopy latch mechanism, and being able to convert from two-seat to single-seat configurations is a huge plus.
