Hi Drew,
I'm not an ebay guy. However, I have been considering your project
for some time. Would you send me a picture or two of the project, perhaps
with a parts list?
We emailed one another a few times. I'm the guy restoring a -55.
In fact, my gear box is on the cnc mill being fabricated right now. And,
more can be had, so I am open to projects.
Send me something...
Ben

Mark,
What year is your 50? Mine is a 78 and I do not recall seeing a shoulder on
the locking pin. I will double check tomorrow PM.
I have adjusted my cable all the way out in the manor that is shown in
Tom's article. The cable will not adjust far enough out to allow full
forward stick throw. I go about 2-3 inches past neutral on the stick. I did
that after the picture that you saw was taken when I figured out that was
part of my problem. Those that have flown formation on me since have not
commented on the tailwheel being canted off center. The last pictures taken
after that have not shown it to be canted off center. I have not had
another episode of sudden kicking of the tail with touch down either.

$1100 for stainless exhaust sounds like a good deal to me and a big safet
y
improvement over the dangerous (yes, there, I've said it) old steel exhau
st.
Anyone have a better price? I've paid more than that for steel. Ah, no
, I
don't get a commission and I don't sell parts. Yes, I have done business
with Andrew and Jennifer with none of the complaints so flagrantly assert
ed
here. I'm sure many other readers of this list have also (maybe
unknowingly) done business with them through various outlets with none of
the alleged problems. I've done business with Doug and most of the other
s,
too. I'll probably do business with them again. Let's just try to play
nice here in the sandbox, OK? We need all the help we can get.

I am going to sell stainless steel exhaust for a very lower price. This is hard
to get parts in China and I think it will benefit CJ owners. I only make less
than $200 per set. The reason for my post is to see how many people will need
SS exhaust. I don't need any prepay. I can stock 6-8 CJs all the time. Why cannot
I stock some parts? I don't understand why some of you got so upset or
mad about this. I Are you guys doing business don't make anything? Are you guys
working for free?? If not, so what is I am going wrong and what is going wrong
with you??????What are you barking for???I really don't understand because
I am Chinese. That is only answer. Craig Payne, next time, when you need parts
from me,don't tell me Doug price too higher because you like to pay higher price
and I will have no business with you any more.
By the way, Lance Robb, I am still waiting for your payment of $600 on the parts
you had last year. I know you still live you can get my email..
