Well I still have my nice CJ and a fantastic spares kit including engine for sale at a great price. I've already bought the boat, and it just isnt big enough for the plane. Sorry to have missed you guys @ S&F Maybe I'll be there next year since I'm sure I'll still have the Jet......Cant give that paper weight away :) Email me off list Ernie Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=108677#108677 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 01:51:34 PM PST US From: "Craig Payne" Subject: Yak-List: RPA Prospects Just received a follow-up email from one of the F-18 jocks down for SNF as lead in a demo 2-ship. Sorry he couldn't buzz the Leeward warbird fly-out as I had suggested during a chance meeting at the FBO's dinner where my wife was working. (yes, I'm a shameless free-loader) Major Chris Zoelzer (USMC) actually has the RedStar web-site book-marked and would love to fly in Yaks/CJ's. I assured him that is a certain possibility in the future and to contact me if OSH is in the cards. He is based near Ft Worth and is looking for a G-fix solution when the day comes that our common Uncle won't pay his fuel bill. Us jarheads stick together no matter how many AF Pukes are out there. I have personally flown the ex-Southwest Viper demo driver. I have flown on his wing many times both on and off AD. Seems he went over the RV side before he knew about YAKs. He's crazy about the YAK but uses his RV to travel to and from the individual Alabama guard units as well as to 1st AF and DC. Unfortunately. There are many others of us in the RPA that share that opportunity every chance we get. Tell your Jarhead bud we "AF pukes" will be happy to teach him how to land not crash land just to be lucky enough to use the jet again. You did tell him that we do not have a hook or a wire to play with either? Now with those trailing link gear you guys have on those CJ's he should certainly feel at home smoothing out any hard crash landings he may revert to. It is perfectly suited for the postage stamp lighters hooking wires and F-4 drivers where the flare consists of a plop and flop! We in the Viper community have to land the plane that includes the Eagle drivers too. ;>)). Did anyone else see it that way? Great photos Stephen! Thanks for sharing. Dennis ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephen J.
