Folks, The first ever RPA South Central Regional Texas Fly-In is on the www.flyredstar.org website posted under "Fly-Ins" right on the home page - you can register right there for free to let the planners know your coming, it's helpful to the planners, as they have to copy up supplies, purchase water and other beverages, etc. Here is what the website says under fly-ins, please not the location: Airport Name: Gainsville Airport Airport Identifier KGLE State: TX Start Date: 5/10/2007 End Date: 5/13/2007 Additional Notes: South Central RPA Meet and Greet and FAST Clinic at Gainsville Airport. Discussions on the new formation manual, new ground school and future South Central Region Events to be held by RPA President Drew Blahnick. Check pilots will be available as needed. If you would like to see an event annually in this area of Texas, try to make it out and be in on the planning discussion. Thanks to Forrest for all his hard work. I've invited Cary "Motto" Vendon out as well to provide his popular Tactical Formation seminar, which he just provided at All Red Star in California. Drew Drew A. The 10th is for those arriving early. Friday morning will be the start day. Terry Calloway is to do the ground school on friday. We plan some check rides during the ground school. Bring your letters of REC.in order to get a check ride. We will have lead pilots who can give letters of Rec if you are ready. Looking for a good turn out. Could one of the South African "listers" please supply the details of the ground collision between ZU-WAN and ZU-CWL on April 22? Might be enlightening for many of us. Thanks, Roger Baker

Go to a Russian airshow! The Raptor is a nice bird but the Russians can do stuff with their jets that is equally if not more amazing. Now, put them in a fight and thats when it would get interesting. Thanks to all the participants and volunteers for the ARS 2007 at Porterville. It was one of the best ARS West events I have been to. The Porterville Airport is friendly and has great facilities. Thanks for all the hard work. Tj
