Try piece of safety wire -- PSalter@aol.com wrote: 1) How does one unclog a fuel vent on a Yak 52 with the single vent sys tem? I took a rubber tube attached it to the vent under the belly of th e plane, blew thru it and found it difficult to blow air into the tanks. Also, the left tank seems to be transferring fuel to the right tank whi ch overflows while sitting on the ground with caps loose. Any ideas? 2) Where is the fuse located for the Baklan radio? If the fuse is good, w hat would the next step be in finding out why the radio is dead? FWIW, the bladders are made by an aircraft bladder manufacturer and not a race car manufacture. At this time I'm not in a position to discuss anything further about them. Phil, I phrased it that way so that people could draw their own conclusions. However, (please don't tell her I said this), even though I love my wife dearly; I think I could get a better price on the open market for the Sukhoi. Also, the original title I had on the picture was "Two Russians in Red and White". That wasn't quite as jazzy as what I changed it to, I thought. Roger PS Here's another just for fun. That's Darrell Gary in #09, me in my ol' Red Nose (since sold to two great guys in Denver), Gordon Witter in his #14. Out a ways, with a photog (Tony Z.) in his back seat is Dan Ramsay in his #10.
