The best time you'll have in your airplane! Learn Tactical Formation,
section tactics, Close Air Support, just like our current air forces
are doing in current conflicts. Fly an air war simulation (no ACM,
this is more like a chess match) tailored to civilian warbirds.
You'll never need to pull more than 2 G's...and have a ball! This
year we're adding a real CSAR mission with a helicopter.
This event is designed to both challenge FAST rated pilots, and
introduce those less experienced in a comfortable manner. Wether you
are a military/DT veteran, or it's your first time, you'll have a
ball learning new forms of flying fun, and ultimatlely contributing
to expunging the evil invaders from the south. Experience a taste of
what it's like to be a part of a real air campaign, with tactical
pilot veterans to help you every step of the way. Because of the
large logistical effort to pull this off, event fees are higher than
normal, but worth every penny. All inexperienced pilots will have
qualified back seaters to keep things safe and fun. THERE IS A ROLE
FOR EVERYONE AT DT IV!!! Fun guaranteed, or your money back!
Event dates are Oct. 25-28. Here's the tentative schedule of events.

Arrivals (1400-1700)
Reception, In-brief and Intro to Tac Form (1800)
Friday
Sortie 1 ' Tac From
Lunch and CAS brief
Sortie 2 ' CAS (Close Air Support)
Sortie 3 (optional) ' Section Tactics, Tac Form review, or fun flight.
Section Tactics and Scenario In Brief (political situation)
Saturday
Mission brief
Mission Planning
Sortie 1 ' Air war sim
Sortie 2 ' CSAR and/or capture the flag
Banquet
Sunday

A cool evening, sun was heading towards setting, calm winds, great visibility,
smooth running engine, trimmed up for nearly hands off, canopy back....
Life was good tonight.........
(And no, I am not high. Just really enjoyed a flight tonight!)
