Just run a relief tub to the exhaust stack. Only good on a stainless exhaust. And be certain that you are the last one in formation. Cheap smoke. Short lived. >>> "Tim Gagnon" <NiftyYak50@fuse.net> 7/24/2007 8:24 AM >>> > Have you ever tried to use a piddle pack in a 50 without an autopilot? I just throw it over the side. Needs a stainless steel injector tip also or it to will corrode. Nothing worse than a corroded limp injector tip in the stainless steel exhaust! Need to monitor the vacuum gauge on the relief tube to the exhaust stack. Could be a problem concentrating on flying. Enough of that, gone to far already. >>> "Roger Kemp" <viperdoc@mindspring.com> 7/24/2007 2:29 PM >>> Needs a stainless steel injector tip also or it to will corrode. Hey all: Is anybody planning on attending the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends planned for Sept 29 and 30 in Columbus, Ohio? At present, they have almost 100 P-51s signed up to be there including civilian acts and military performances. In addition, they will have planes the Mustang flew with and against. I know they aren't round engines and were made it the US.....This should be a great event. If 10 want to go, RPA could get a box for group box seating. I'm willing to coordinate. Contact me offline if you are interested. Need to know soon. Craig Winkelmann, CFI Soon to be CJ Owner

If enough people are going to this, I will have a little get together at my hangar about 30 minutes away. We can have a little fly-in in conjunction with the GML and maybe do a mass form up to Rick... Thoughts? Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=125601#125601

Brian, nice to see you again and thanks for the advice. I ran the test Mark recommended today and if I simply had better hearing, I could have avoided all of them and found the problem. I did figure out that I have a good check valve and started valve though. Right main is leaking from the front cap where the rod end goes. They come out tomorrow and will be shipped for overhaul. Thanks for the input fellas! Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=125603#125603
