Does anyone know the proper grease to use in the JG-9 prop hub? Is there any special
procedure for greasing the hub? Anyone know how to statically balance the
prop?
I lost my torque conversions, the manuals states NM for torque, is that Newtons/Meter?
I would assume I just convert newtons to pounds and Meters to feet to
get ft/lbs, please correct me if I'm wrong here.
Thanks
Ernie

NEWTON / METERS to FT LBS = N/M X 0.73756 = Ft lbs
I use Aero Shell # 5 for the prop.

Tom, Dennis, Bill, and Steve
Thanks for the suggestions. The day I had the problem of no indicated oil
pressure the temp was in the low twenties but I thought I had pre-warmed the
oil. It turns out the electrical outlet I had used was dead and the oil was
cold. Once I discovered the outlet was dead I used another outlet, warmed
the oil properly, and started the engine. I immediately had normal oil
pressure. The other suggestions you made were therefore not used but will be
filled away for future reference. Thank you all for you expertise and
assistance.
