The Zaon MRX was chosen as the top value pick. I recommend the article if you can get a copy. Available for a fee on their website: http://www.aviationconsumer.com/issues/37_9/avionicsreport/5701-1.html Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=155755#155755 ________________________________ Message 3 _____________________________________ Time: 02:05:15 PM PST US Subject: Yak-List: WTB Yak 50 From: "GreasySideUp" Happy new year everyone!! I'll be back from the desert in about 2 months and am still wanting to buy a Yak 50. I know a few replied earlier, if you still have one for sale or know of one for sale please email me all the details including mods/spares/hrs/when&who imported&overhauled/logs/avionics/ when it was last annualed, major components replaced, times, damage history, year of fabric and paint, year of hoses and anything else you can think of. A few pics would be great as well. Please include the price as well, I am a serious buyer and have the money for the right plane at a fair price but if you are trying to make a ton of cash I am probably not your buyer. I am aware of what many of these have into them, obviously a documented full overhaul down to the bare metal yak is worth more than others who were not as extensively refurbished. Please justify why it is worth x if it is more than some of the recent sales. I also need the strong spar mod and documentation on who performed the work. I am willing to entertain planes in Europe as well but with the dollar at all time lows it still has to be priced fairly to my doorstep. I may also be interested in projects, specifically something structurally fine, minus the engine. 430hp is somewhere in my future, if I can knock that out now I'm all ears. Most likely I am looking at an early March sale, Let me know what you have and please include all the details I have listed.
