Get a hold of victoria air maintenance. colin can help you negotiate the land mines. i've imported several planes, although not cjs to Canada it isn't that hard. Let the fella thinking about it to consider a couple of things. we cannot get hull insurance on our ships here. So for instance, If I were to do it again, I would have bought yours and owned it through a us corp and kept it us registered. then i coulda got insurance. i did buy a cdn registered bird... so now I would have to do the reverse and its not worth it. Victoria Air maintenance should be able to do your import very easily and quickly Mike -------- Mike "Skidmk" Bourget Ottawa, Ontario Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=159219#159219

This sortie was to try out a new camera and some shot angles. It is certainly not good formation technique....but it was a buttload of fun. My wife shot the video from a Christian Eagle. Another airplane shot some stills... Straight and level SUCKS!!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL9kpdYjCGM Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=159289#159289

Planing on going to Oshkosh for the big party? The University of Wisconsin called me today to say that they are starting to take reservations. You might want to get your reservation in early. Below is a rerun of the e-com we sent out earlier on the university dorms and the contact numbers. ____________________________________________________________________________ __ __ Where to stay? There are a number of places and you can get a list from EAA, BUT we'd like to suggest the University of Wisconsin dorms. First they are very inexpensi ve (2 Beds per room @ $50.00/ night) and very convenient to many of our planed activities. Second, transportation is a big bonus because there is direct bus services from the dorms to EAA=99s main gate at $5.00 round trip. However! We are planning to have our own buses take us to & from the dorms directly to our aircraft saving us a :20 minute walk. Third, there are a number of nice restaurants with-in very short walks of the dorms. Forth, we have arra nged with UW to have all our rooms together on the same floor and in the same building. Many EAAers like =9Cdoing the dorms=9D. The room are not unlike a military billet. Two beds, 2 chairs, 2 decks, 2 dressers, a refrigerator, a microwave, and (maybe) Internet service. You get 2 sheets, 1 blank, 1 pil low case, and 1 towel & wash cloth. There is no air conditioning (sorry those r ooms sold-out 2 hours after they opened). You may be want to buy a cheap fan or do like most of us and sleep with the door and window open! Oh yes, the johns and showers are down the hall. Want to stay at the dorm? A one night=99s deposit of $50.00 is due o n or before March 15th. If you make a reservation and not pay the deposit by t han, you lose your reservations. If you need to cancel out, you'll get a refund if you do so BEFORE June 15. After that date, you lose your deposit. By the way, if you have already signed up for the dorms rooms on the RPA web site, you will still need to contact UW for the reservations. All we've done is let them know how many rooms they can expect plus RPA needs to provide them wit h a final roster by July 15th. Here is the contact stuff for reservations. Phone UW: (920)-424-3226 or (920)-424-0388 and even _uwoeaa@mio.uwosh.edu_ (mailto:uwoeaa@mio.uwosh.edu) . They will accept all credit cards except Discover Card.Make sure you tell them you're with the RPA. **************Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape. http://body.aol.com/fitness/winter-exercise?NCID=aolcmp00300000002489

I have a Airwolf filter on my 52. It is located before the cooler to keep the particles from entering the cooler as Airwolf recommends. Also Airwolf recommends the oil should be the hottest for the filter to flow and clean at max output and not block the cooler flow. The output pressure of the scavenge pump is not that high and needs to keep up the flow with the min pressure needed so care must be taken to assure the relief valve in the filter can open and not block the oil cooler relief valve and damage cooler. Cooling the oil and then forcing it through the filter is not as good of a idea as hot oil flowing through the filter.
