Yeah, and probably climb out straight up at Vne! But then there's
the problem of a cruise burn rate of 35 gph *at altitude* you're
gonna need a bunch of fuel.
Speaking of fuel... We are getting closer to our first set of 30
gallon tanks for the CJ. They are one piece metal tanks that DO NOT
require taking the wings off the aircraft, removing the butt rib,
etc. They also maintain the integrity of the original system using
the same vent lines, senders, and gauge (recalibrated for the extra
capacity). No maintenance or life span concerns as with the bladder
system. Will be priced competitively and a straight forward "do it
yourself" installation kit will be made available after we get the
first few sets installed.
