Thanks, Roger Bieberdorf Gang, We will post pics of the rudder pedal mod on our new web site soon. I currently have nearly a dozen orders and will be making a production run in our machine shop shortly. They will be milled out of billet aluminum. If you're interested in being part of this batch. Let me know. Again, cost is $250/set. Nets 4" of leg extension and is simple to install. For all who don't know this, the Yak 52 is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. First flight was May 1978. Dozens of each of those models are expected to be part of the AirVenture flight line, and it could shift warbird parking patterns slightly in that area. Pappy, will we need more CJ's now? Disassemble the section just behind the knob and remove the spacer. The spacer is about 3/4" long and the shaft for the knob goes through it. Removing it will then give you the same space in the rear as is in the front before any pedal modifications. So far we have 44 CJ-6s signed up. Some 11 Yaks (who will fly with us) have signed on too. I expect more. This morning I will be mailing a letter to Bushi Cheng, in the PRC with an invitation (courtesy of the RPA) to come and celibate with us. Hopefully those of you who did not get to meet him in 2001 will be able to do so. You guys and gals better get signed up. Go to the RPA web site for details. Also see the next issue of RedAlert.
