Brian and Mark: Thanks so much for sharing your technical expertise. Now, I gotta go find the overvoltage regulator for my CJ!! It also seems as though (if the splines are the same on Housai and M-14) that if B&C had put a seal on the shaft, it would have worked on both engines!! Thanks again, Craig PS - Brian, that was not more than I wanted to hear on the subject, it was excellent!! Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=165077#165077

That is why I did the project to make an OV module for the CJ. > It also seems as though (if the splines are the same on Housai and > M-14) that if B&C had put a seal on the shaft, it would have worked > on both engines!! If you make a plate with a seal it will. There are people flying CJ's with B&C alternators with an adaptor plate. > > > Thanks again, > > Craig > > PS - Brian, that was not more than I wanted to hear on the subject, > it was excellent!! just got my wabirds mag today. I see in the news section that 'Changers Craig Ekburg and Ron Lee were recognized for their warbirds airshow participation with Warbird Aviator "wings",along with Yakkista Tim Williams. Good to see our RedStar guys earn some recognition. OTOH, there is no mention of "Pappy's" Warbird Command Wings. Things that make you go Hmmm. Perhaps they were worried about running out ink listing Pappy's warbird list...hope it wasn't more than that. Craig Payne
