Troops, Weather for OSH/ETB flying on the 24-25- don't look to bad. 2 big Highs will be over the US. 1 dominating 1/3 the SW, the other center over Hudson Bay but extending all the way to the TN/KY state line. There will most likely be TS along a lopping line (a occluded front) running from ND down to the TN/KY state line, than up to the DC area. A Low will likely form over KS/NE along that line on the 25th Both Highs should prevail into the 25th with the occluded front moving slightly N. The guys in the NW will have a High move in on the 24th followed by a Low on the 25th. The Low over KS NE & OK will most likely cause some problems. Us guys in the SE should see isolated TS on the trip up until we pass that line on the TN/KY state line. We'll now see now good my prognostication skill are!!!! Economists and Weathermen both are paid regardless of their prognostications accuracy, which is usually ON around 50% of the time or better. I am buying your first round if you are better than 50% of your posted report. We are striking out from the NW on the 24th. Sounds like headwinds as your High fills in the Low on our flank. Dual Garmin 496s will be onboard. Ron, You miss the point. THEY think that par or close to par is in fact going to happen, rather is does or does not is not the issue. Because of this belief they are either refusing to sell, (waiting for the big bucks), or have jacked up the price on most items 20% to 30% and 40% on selected items. To the Chinese seller of aircraft parts, you are akin to Bill Gates, and you have so much money that another 20% to 30% will not stop you from buying parts. They read Trade a Plane too. They are eager to site the doubling of fuel prices not stopping us from driving our big cars. Right or wrong it's all about perceptions. And yes you are correct, the RMB is only worth 0.1455 cents to our Pacific Peso today, but not too long ago it was only worth 0.05!! These folks are poised to eat our lunch, I have been in this game nearly 20 years, am in China at least once a year every year and have seen the changes.
