How can you say Bush is a dim wit when he has a Masters in Economics

It is because of him and his intern cigar poking boss that gave away a

the Chinese. The past is the past but the Chinese do have the technology

Not a damn thing cause he don't know nothing anyway except raise your
taxes. That's going to cost you more than the PMB floating up. You
guys ought to focus on who will be president, not being pissed off at
Bush.

this and we'll check back in January to see who's crystal ball was

Guys and Gals,
This list, and the RPA, and our flying together, work because we are all
committed to our common enjoyment of our airplanes, our flying and our being
together. Like a smooth engine it runs because it is lubricated by our
mutual courtesy of voluntarily - and deliberately - keeping the acidic and
corrosive aspects of life out of the conversation.
In part this means to me that:
We choose not to call each other names that are meant to diminish or hurt.
We choose not to deride each other for our choice of airplane, where we
live, how we fly or what oil - or additives - we use or don't use.
We choose to respect each other's ancestry and country.
And, we choose not to add the acid of religious beliefs or political views
into the conversation.
Vote for and contribute to whomever you wish; Believe in and pray to
whatever or whomever you wish; Love and/or have sex with whomever or
whatever you wish and will have you; Be a carnivore, a vegan or a synthetic
food eater; Believe that the world is flat, round or a grain of sand on a
turtle's back; Believe that the government and wall street are here to help
you - or not; Believe that Elvis is dead or alive.
Believe and do what you want, but do it somewhere else! Because - if you
do it here - know clearly and perfectly well that you are taking a cheap,
sneak shot intended to push other people's buttons when they are playing
nice with each other and not out looking for a fight. In my view it is the
person taking the cheap shot that should be roundly condemned by everyone
else on the list who thinks that this community has value.
One of the reasons we get together is because nobody knows the whole story.
With planes, engines and flying we can each contribute a bit to an open
conversation. That's rare these days. I for one want to keep it running.

Hal, wonderful words of wisdom.
But.............................
What I believe is more important than trying to control what people say,
is to ask the readers why in the world it should matter to them what
anyway else says to begin with?
Advice I have failed to follow myself now and then by the way, but I do
keep trying!
You see when it comes right down to it, there is an amazing range of
things that, if said, can manage to make one person or another angry.
For example, my refusal to give an inch on the issue of wearing Flight
Suits and Parachutes while flying in formation. A lot of people got
very sick and tired of that tirade and they had every right to.
Personally, I get rather tired of RPA members confusing the YAKLIST as
their alternative meeting place and acting like the whole purpose of
this list is to support their functions, advertise their events, and pat
each other on the back for their 'accomplishments'. Others, I am sure,
consider this valuable information. Keep in mind that I have met a few
RPA members and think them a good group of people.
Regardless, many readers of this list come from all over the world and
they come here primarily for technical or other help in keeping their
aircraft flying, to them, much of what we say is pure drivel and
maddening to boot!
In the end there is an old saying in the U.S. military that comes to
mind that I will paraphrase. It goes something like this: "I may
disagree totally with what you are saying, but I will defend with my
life the right for you to say it."
Let's learn to accept the differences between ourselves without anger.
If that fails, then proper peer pressure will usually win out. I think
this a far better solution than hinting around what we should or should
not talk about, although I understand your intentions and honor them as
they were meant.

Don't plan to Dave. You already have almost as many Muslims in your
country as France, Germany, and Holland along with the fact that China
already owns your countries oil sands. They bought the rights to that a
couple years ago. I'm just hoping my country closes the door on these people
that are really not our friends before we have them demanding that I
celebrate Ramadan and bow to the east 6 times a day or eat deep fat fried

The "lead the world" statement came directly from the "Chosen Ones" mouth as
he addressed the "200,000" adoring crowds in Berlin. The one thing missed by
the doting liberal press was that he was speaking between two of Germany's
popular bands?? What was that all about?
This half breed in like an Angel Food Cake..all fluff and little substance.
But he would have the world believe he is a qualified leader with 143 days

It is amazing to me that your own Free Canadian Press has so aptly pointed
out that the chosen one (in his own mind) is a naturalized US citizen since
he was not born to two parents that were/are US citizens and his US born
mother had not lived in the US for 5 years before his birth since he was
born before she was 21 years old.
