Doc: Since you know more about this stuff than most, could you comment on this device? It looks like it does the job for a fair price. www.detectcarbonmonoxide.com It is Pocket CO by KWJ Engineering. For the price, not bad. I would like to see what it's false positive rate is. But for $139, it is a bargain. The Drager that I have is 15 times more expensive but has other capabilities like storing exposure data with the ability to download that data for analysis. It then will graft that exposure data on a time line. It is 100 times better than that "dot" you stick on your instrument panel. You are going to be alarmed by the numbers you see while in ground ops. I personally can feel the difference after flying without the 02 mask vs no mask. A lot more fatigue a lot sooner. Hope I answered some of your questions. It is not the fact that you have the information. It is what are you going to do with that information once you compile it. The exposure limits on the web page is particularly useful along with the symptoms from exposure. Knowing those could save one's life. Does anybody have an electrical schematic for a CJ-6A with the solid state regulator installed. It seems that the Generator monitor light system is different than a standard CJ-6A. Frank N23021
