Frank, The solid state regulator was a mod which was done at the air bases and was not "stock" to new aircraft comming from the Nanchang factory, so all dwgs (that I know of) will show the older mag type regulator. I have owned 2 factory new (flying) CJ6's and two others which were damaged (in a trucking accident), all were mfg'd in 2000 or later, all four had the older style mag regulator. Has someone installed a B&C system on the aircraft, or something else of the same ilk? Or does the aircraft still use the same generator but with a solid state control system? Mark/Frank: We just completed a B&C alternator/regulator install on the Wilga - although it is the AI14 engine I believe it uses the same mounting plate as the stock CJ engine. Contact Morten Stoverud at mortsaero@comcast.net or (856) 495-3159. Yes it still uses the 50 AMP generator but a solid state regulator mounted behind the pilots seat. Suggest you remove the existing hoses and ship them to Doug Sapp and he will rebuild them for you at a reasonable price. Doug Sapp and Carl Hayes here in the US. West London Aero Club at http://www.wlacrussianeng.co.uk/ in GB and I think Ilia @ Aeroconcept in France are a few that can make the hoses. Generally you have to send in the fittings with the old hose for them to make them. Hope this helps, Doc -----Original Message----- From: owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-yak-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of Armin Riekert Sent: Friday, September 19, 2008 12:03 PM Subject: Yak-List: flex hoses I'm looking for a set of flex hoses for my Yak 52.
