I thought the list members might find these pics interesting.
Termikas were pretty good about photo documenting the process..
I also posted my original design artwork.
I think I remember the process is about 1200 hours of work to do the overhaul,
and modify to Tail Dragger.
Enjoy..

What Craig fails to mention is that in the winter the highways in Florida are a
death zone... AARP bluehairs like Craig are myopically weaving their way down
the roads at 35mph being a total hazard to driver and pedestrian alike... They
flock like gossiping snowbirds.. clogging the Cracker Barrell, the IHOP, and
Denny's making it all but impossible to get a nice sunday breakfast!
At least there ain't too many lamp posts in the air for you to hit in your CJ craig!!
:)
And then there's the summertime in Florida!! Dear GOD what a sweaty furnace of
a stinking hellhole that place becomes... When the afternoon thunderstorms come..
they are no relief. The ground just steams afterward like some primordial
sauna...
Actually.. Just kidding.. I lived there for two years.. and If I could find decent
work there I'd be there in a heartbeat. Places like St Augustine, and Key
west are some of the most awesome places I've ever had the fortune to visit..
And the Bluehairs ain't so bad.... Except Craig of course! :)

Dave,
Thank you for your relentless support of fallibility. To answer your questions:
1) I was wearing a flight suit and it's superior protective qualities surely kept
the knife from continuing on through my fingers and attacking the half dozen
kids surrounding me.
2) Whilst MMO does indeed have antibacterial and coagulative qualities as well
as easing suturing, I had used the last bit of my current stock baiting wild
turkeys for our Christmas dinner.
